SPORTSCONNECT LINK
Sports Organization Registration, Platform Use & Institutional Responsibility Agreement
1. Purpose and acceptance
This Agreement governs registration and participation on SportsConnect Link by sports academies, clubs, associations, federations, training institutions and other eligible sporting organizations.
By accepting this Agreement, the person submitting registration represents that they have the authority to act for and bind the named organization.
If the applicant lacks such authority, they must not submit registration on behalf of that organization.
Acceptance constitutes an application for platform participation, not automatic verification, institutional accreditation, funding eligibility or endorsement by SCL.
2. Role and responsibilities of SportsConnect Link
SCL provides a technology platform intended to connect athletes, sponsors, Coaches and Sports Organizations through structured profiles, authorized relationships and approved sporting or sponsorship opportunities.
Depending on approved features and eligibility, SCL may provide:
- Organizational registration and profile management.
- Identity, institutional and authorized-contact verification workflows.
- Athlete and Coach association management.
- Discovery and visibility features.
- Notifications, opportunity coordination and reporting.
- Controlled campaign, evidence and financial workflows where applicable.
SCL does not, solely by accepting an organization onto the platform:
- Become its owner, operator, manager, employer, agent or governing body.
- Accredit its training programs, facilities, Coaches or sporting standards.
- Guarantee sponsorship, grants, fundraising results, enrolment or sporting performance.
- Assume operational responsibility for the organization’s facilities, events, employees, Coaches, volunteers or athletes.
- Become the legal guardian of athletes registered or associated with the organization.
Any verification badge indicates completion of defined SCL checks and does not constitute a comprehensive audit or guarantee of institutional safety, compliance or quality.
3. Institutional eligibility and authorized representation
The organization agrees to provide accurate and complete information concerning its legal or operating identity, category, address, contact details, authorized representative, sporting activities, relevant affiliations and other requested particulars.
The organization must ensure that:
- Its registered representative has appropriate authority.
- Required registrations, licenses, permissions and approvals are maintained.
- Material changes to institutional identity, governance, address, contacts or authorization are promptly updated.
- Submitted documents and affiliations are authentic and current.
- Its profile does not imply accreditation, sponsorship or official recognition that it does not possess.
SCL may request reasonable supporting evidence and may decline, restrict or suspend registration where material information cannot be verified or appears misleading.
4. Independent operational responsibility
The organization retains full responsibility for its independent operations, including:
- Facilities, training programmes, equipment and physical safety.
- Selection, supervision and conduct of employees, Coaches, contractors and volunteers.
- Compliance with applicable sporting, employment, tax, education, safeguarding and other laws.
- Athlete welfare and appropriate handling of complaints.
- Institutional policies, discipline and grievance processes.
- Required insurance, permissions and event arrangements.
- Accuracy of claims concerning achievements, affiliations, rankings and programme outcomes.
The organization must not represent SCL as assuming any of these operational responsibilities unless expressly agreed in a separate written contract.
5. Athlete safeguarding, consent and representation
The organization must respect each athlete’s legal rights, autonomy, privacy and informed consent.
An organization’s association with an athlete on SCL does not automatically establish ownership of the athlete’s profile, authority over sponsorship decisions or permission to disclose restricted personal information.
Where an athlete is a minor, the organization must comply with applicable child-protection obligations and obtain the legally required parent or guardian authorizations.
The organization must not create or approve athlete relationships, publish athlete media, share personal information or accept binding commitments on an athlete’s behalf without the required authority and consent.
SCL may require athlete confirmation or other appropriate evidence before making an association active.
6. Coach relationships and accountability
The organization may nominate or associate Coaches using the platform’s approved relationship-management features.
It is responsible for accurately identifying its authorized Coaches and promptly updating or withdrawing associations when a Coach leaves, changes responsibilities or loses authorization.
A Coach’s platform account remains subject to that Coach’s separate registration agreement.
An organizational association does not automatically grant the organization access to a Coach’s private banking information, protected identity documents or unrelated personal data.
The organization is responsible for its own employees, agents and representatives when acting within their organizational authority, subject to applicable law. Independently registered Coaches remain responsible for their own separate conduct and commitments.
7. Platform integrity and non-circumvention
The organization agrees to participate in good faith and not misuse SCL to bypass its approved commercial, consent, verification or financial controls.
For identifiable sponsorship introductions, campaigns or commercial opportunities originating through SCL, the organization must not knowingly move or conceal the transaction outside SCL for the purpose of avoiding applicable SCL commissions, fees, approvals, records or other agreed transaction obligations.
The organization must not instruct or encourage an athlete, Coach, sponsor, employee or representative to misstate the source of a platform-originated opportunity or structure an undisclosed substitute transaction intended to defeat SCL’s contractual rights.
This provision does not restrict legitimate pre-existing sponsorship arrangements, independently developed relationships or unrelated commercial activities where there is no misuse of SCL information or evasion of an existing SCL transaction obligation.
Specific transaction fees, commissions, durations and payment conditions must be governed by the applicable approved commercial terms. No undisclosed fee arises merely from organizational registration.
8. Sponsorship, grants and financial controls
The organization must not promise or guarantee that SCL will provide sponsorship, grants or funding.
Unless expressly authorized under an approved SCL workflow, the organization may not:
- Collect or hold sponsorship funds on behalf of SCL.
- Represent that it controls platform escrow or athlete settlement.
- Approve its own restricted financial transactions.
- Direct the release of funds outside approved authorization controls.
- Substitute undocumented cash or off-platform transfers for required recorded transactions.
Any grant, reimbursement, incentive or other payment involving the organization is subject to applicable programme eligibility, verification, approved terms, accounting records and legal requirements.
SCL’s operational review and final high-risk financial approvals remain subject to its defined separation-of-duties controls.
9. Privacy, confidentiality and data protection
The organization agrees to process information obtained through SCL only for authorized, lawful and disclosed purposes.
It must maintain appropriate access controls for its staff and representatives, prevent unauthorized disclosure, and comply with applicable data-protection and confidentiality obligations.
The organization must not scrape, resell, publish, export or exploit platform participant information for unrelated commercial purposes.
Where it independently collects or processes athlete, Coach or other personal information, the organization remains responsible for its own legal obligations relating to that processing.
SCL remains responsible for its own data-processing activities under applicable law and its published Privacy Policy.
10. Content, branding and intellectual property
The organization retains ownership of its lawful original content and institutional marks.
It grants SCL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, format, reproduce and display submitted organizational content as reasonably necessary to provide and promote approved platform services, subject to applicable law and privacy settings.
The organization warrants that it has the necessary rights and permissions to submit photographs, athlete testimonials, videos, institutional logos and other materials.
The organization must not use SCL branding to imply accreditation, an exclusive partnership or an official endorsement without prior written authorization.
11. Conflicts of interest and fair participation
The organization must disclose material conflicts of interest where required by an applicable platform workflow.
It must not manipulate athlete profiles, fabricate achievements, create false Coach affiliations, submit misleading evidence or interfere with independent verification and financial approvals.
Where the organization has an existing contractual relationship with an athlete, Coach or sponsor, it remains responsible for ensuring that participation on SCL does not violate lawful obligations to those parties.
12. Account security, review and termination
The organization must maintain secure access to its account, assign authorized users appropriately and promptly revoke access when personnel leave or lose authority.
SCL may review, restrict, suspend or terminate participation for material contractual breach, suspected fraud, safeguarding concerns, misuse of personal information, false institutional claims, unlawful conduct or objectively justified platform-security reasons.
Where reasonably practicable and lawful, SCL will provide notice and an opportunity to respond. Immediate restrictions may be imposed where necessary to protect participants, funds, evidence or platform security.
Termination does not erase accrued contractual obligations, valid transaction records or applicable legal duties.
13. Allocation of responsibility and liability
The organization remains responsible for its own operations, personnel, premises, representations, legal compliance and institutional commitments.
SCL remains responsible for its own contractual commitments, platform operations and duties imposed by applicable law.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from SCL’s own fraud, willful misconduct or other non-excludable conduct.
To the extent permitted by law, SCL does not guarantee the availability of sponsorship, institutional growth, athlete success or the conduct of independent platform participants.
The organization agrees to indemnify SCL against reasonable third-party claims, losses and expenses arising directly from its unlawful conduct, material misrepresentation, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of this Agreement, except to the extent caused by SCL’s own wrongful conduct.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
The organization may raise platform-related complaints through SCL’s published support or grievance channel.
The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve contractual disputes through written discussion, without limiting statutory remedies or access to urgent legal relief.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable mandatory law, courts of competent jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra, shall have jurisdiction.
15. Agreement updates
SCL may revise this Agreement for legal, security, operational or platform-related reasons.
Material revisions will be communicated through a reasonable notice mechanism and, where legally required, the organization will be asked to provide renewed acceptance.
Previously agreed commercial terms will not be changed retroactively except as legally permitted and appropriately agreed.
